A large, statement necklace with a heavy, solid feel. The starting point of the Metric collection was movement, drawing graphic shapes from technical drawings of mechanisms, and inspiration on form and material from the dynamic art movements of the early Twentieth century. I fell in love with the Architectons of Kasimir Malevich, inspiring my use of layering and of graphic stone shapes. This piece is layered in metal and Jesmonite. Jesmonite is a castable stone composite that I hand dye, cast and sand to create a two tone effect, the finished stone is designed to look like marble.
Made in - Available in three colourways; Copper and Ice Blue / Navy Jesmonite stone with rose gold plated findings. Brass and Mint Green / Forest Jesmonite stone with gold plated findings and Stainless Steel and Pale Pink / Oxblood Jesmonite stone with silver plated findings.
Measures - 6.5cm long by 5cm wide, on an 80cm long chain, a long pendant hanging below the bust line. If you would like a different length, please let me know in the notes section at the checkout.
