These minimal statement earrings have been one of my favourite pieces to wear from this collection, the thin drops add drama while keeping the piece light enough to be worn comfortably all day. They are made in stainless steel and three coloured, hand cast Jesmonite in black, nude and amber or brass and carbon, blush and ink. They have hypoallergenic surgical steel posts. Each earring measures 13mm x 54mm.
Jesmonite is a composite stone a little like concrete but is designed to look like natural stone, I developed the three colour casting technique for this collection. It has a matt finish, feels like natural stone, and has a slightly sparkly finish, like you would find in granite.
Stainless steel is very hard wearing and doesn’t tarnish. It can be cleaned with a metal polish such as Brasso. Brass is a shiny gold coloured metal and needs to be cared for in a similar way to silver, it is best stored in a box and polished from time to time to restore the shine.
Alnet is part of the Structure collection, inspired by the idea of revealing the hidden structures that make up the world around us. This piece uses the intersection of cell structures and classic geometric designs.
